In preparation for your ceremony, I will give you samples of ceremonies and verses that you can use, or you can write your own vows and choose your own readings.

A Celebrant has obligations under the Marriage Act 1955, and these will be explained to you at your first meeting. Other than that, the contents of the ceremony is totally your choice.

Family and friends can also be involved and you may have certain readings or verses that you would like them to read for you.

You may wish to include elements that are special and unique to your family or culture.

Music is an important and integral part of most ceremonies, and we will work together to include your choices in the ceremony.

At the completion of the ceremony you will be required to sign the Marriage Register along with two witnesses and the Celebrant.

I have a small portable public address system available to use at either indoor or outdoor ceremonies.

If you live overseas and wish to be married in New Zealand, you can obtain the information you require and download the appropriate forms from New Zealand Births Deaths and Marriages at: www.bdm.govt.nz
